A treatment plan built around you
A professional chemical peel selected to support brighter, smoother-looking skin. Some clients have little visible peeling, but dryness, redness and flaking can still occur. One visit can refresh the skin; a series of four may be recommended for progressive improvement.
Aimee takes time to understand what is bothering you, what you have already tried, and how treatment will fit your schedule. Your skin history and goals guide the recommendation. Results and recovery vary; your plan is reviewed as your skin responds.
What is BioRePeel?
BioRePeel is a professional acid-based chemical peel. The formulation is selected and applied by a trained practitioner to exfoliate and refresh the skin.
The nickname “no-peel peel” does not mean irritation or peeling cannot happen. Tingling, redness, dryness, and flaking can occur; a peel does not have to produce large sheets of skin to have an effect.
What to expect at your appointment
- Assess your skin
Review allergies, medications, recent exfoliation, and the condition of your skin barrier. Confirm the exact BioRePeel formulation and treatment area.
- Apply and monitor
The skin is prepared and the peel applied using the product’s professional protocol. Tingling or warmth may occur. Tell the practitioner immediately about strong or increasing burning.
- Finish and plan home care
The practitioner completes the product-specific removal and finishing steps and gives you instructions for washing, products, and your next appointment.
Your treatment questions, answered
Is a consultation required?
Yes. A consultation is mandatory before laser resurfacing, microneedling and chemical peels at Aimee’s Skin Spa. We review your skin, health and treatment history, goals, likely downtime and the recommended treatment area before you book corrective care.
How much downtime should I plan for?
Some clients have little visible flaking; others have redness, tightness, dryness, or peeling. Your individual response and the selected formula determine the recovery period.
Let shedding happen naturally. Picking, rubbing, or adding extra exfoliation can damage healing skin and increase the risk of pigment changes.
How should I prepare?
Bring your skincare, medication and supplement list, allergies and recent treatment history. Avoid tanning and sunburn. Ask which active skincare products and hair-removal methods to pause; do not stop prescribed medication without your prescriber’s advice.
What aftercare will I need?
Use the cleanser and barrier moisturizer approved for your peel. Confirm when to first wash your skin; do not copy the timing from a different peel.
Avoid picking, rubbing, tanning, and extra exfoliation. Delay retinoids, exfoliating acids, and strong acne products until cleared. Ask about makeup and heat or exercise restrictions.
Use the sun-protection plan you are given, including broad-spectrum sunscreen when allowed. Report excessive burning, swelling, or a reaction that is getting worse.
When might treatment need to wait?
Disclose ingredient allergies, previous peel reactions, cold sores, active infection, broken skin, a flare of eczema or other inflammatory skin disease, recent sunburn, and pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Discuss current or recent isotretinoin, retinoids, acids, prescription skin medicines, and recent waxing, laser, or other peels. Risks include chemical burns, infection, pigment changes, scarring, prolonged irritation, and an allergic reaction. Suitability depends on the actual formula and protocol.
How many treatments will I need?
A series of four BioRePeel sessions may be recommended for progressive improvement. The spacing follows your skin’s response and the formulation’s protocol.
